summertime

"SUMMER IN TEXAS"

Such a happy season,
Summertime is here!
Sun shines each and everyday,
So I sing a song of cheer.

I wait through every season,
I long for summer to arrive.
I get that happy feeling,
It makes me come alive!

The fall is changing seasons,
The winter's dark and long.
The spring is here forever it seems,
Then summer comes along.

I'm happy summertime is here,
I shout it loud and clear.
I love the other seasons, but,
I love summer in Texas more each year.
